Solitude ~ a gift from God

When I was growing up in a family of 8 children, I can never remember having any times of solitude.  10 people living in cramped a 4 bedroom, 1 bath “railroad flat type apartments” didn’t offer many opportunities for quiet times, let alone discovery. As a young adult, I took my first two apartments with roommates, […]

believing that the only way to Heaven is by embracing what Jesus Christ did on the cross of Calvary, namely dying in our place so that we would not have to pay for our own sin. He was a substitute for us.

Tiger in the rough

Tiger you are in the rough. You are not alone. You’ve had and will continue to have a lot of company. I don’t say this be condemning or judge. But I’m afraid for you and my country because we have so let the standards slip that a President can desecrate the Oval Office; gifted sports celebrities with every possible advantage and blessing walk as if blind, and our own moral code has slipped so far one can only sigh to hear these acts called “scandalous”.

Faith with no value
