Here is recipe I watched from the WLIWCreate T.V. where Caprial+John make the most luscious looking pumpkin soup I’ve ever seen.

Cider with Tuaca and (Creme Fraiche
(or Whipped Cream) and topped with Nutmeg, or crushed Peanut Brittle
(You can substitute Bourbon/Amaretto or Brandy for the Tuaca
INGREDIENTS
1 Quart – Good quality Cider (throw a cinnamon stick & star anise or ginger in while it’s cooking
Tuaca ( allow 1 oz for each glass)
Creme Fraiche (or Whipped Cream) (no sugar added) – allow about 2 Tbspns per glass
Nutmeg (Fresh or dried) (or use crushed peanut brittle)
PROCEDURE:
Prepare (or purchase) Creme Fraiche (Non Vegan/Vegan recipe is below)
or use Whipped Cream
Warm Cider in Pan, add cinnamon, star anise or ginger (whatever your tastebuds like)
TO SERVE:
In a pretty glass, pour in about one (1) oz. Tuaca
Then add about 1 cup cider to glass
Top with about 2 Tablespoons of Creme Fraiche
Grate Nutmeg on Top
Note: Do not add sugar to the creme fraiche as the cider and liquor have enough sugar
What is Tuaca ??
It is a luscious liquor used often in baking. Ex: creme brûlée, drinks, etc)
You could substitute or brandy/Amaretto /bourbon of choice
