MY PHOTOs ARE NOT PHOTOSHOPPED OR AIRBRUSHED
THESE ARE SOME OF THE PRODUCTS I LOVE TO KEEP MY SKIN, HYDRATED, DEWY, SOFT & HEALTHY LOOKING:
I’m in my 6th decade (truth be told closer to my 7th decade) of life. As a young woman, I learned the importance of taking care of ones’ skin. I’m so glad I learned that lesson early on. I’m not entirely certain if good skin is in reality due to the application of serums, moisturizers, etc. Could it simply be genetics? Could it be staying out of the sun? I think it is a combination of all these things.
In my lifetime, I have represented various skin care companies. Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Avon. In the early 80s, I was climbing the corporate ladder of MARY KAY COSMETICS. I became a director in a very short time because I believed in skincare so much. My life took a difficult turn while serving as a Mary Kary Director and I did not have the health to continue on. However, I never lost sight of the importance of taking care of the one thing we can never replace. Our Skin. Mary Kary used to tell us “You can get new teeth, You can get new hair (wigs)* but you only have one skin”. I believe, therefore, that YES … we should purchase top quality cosmetics (get the best products your own budget allows), STAY OUT OF THE SUN, get good sleep, eat a healthy diet, try to limit stress (LOL) but DO take care of your skin. You don’t have to be a fanatic about it, but I do think it makes a big difference.

MY MORNING ROUTINE – My morning routine is very simple. I just rinse with very warm water, followed by these two items:
STEP 1 AM | La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair UV Face Moisturizer with SPF, Daily Facial Moisturizer with Ceramide and Niacinamide for All Skin Types.Sunscreen SPF 30, Oil-Free, Fragrance-Free |
STEP 2 AM | SKINN DIVINE ELIXER LUMINOUS FACE OIL. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I love how it softens my skin and gives it a glow. I love the bottle. LOL! This product is a complex of delicate fermented oils that absorbs quickly and efficiently enveloping skin in opulent moisture “PAT” this sparingly OVER my most problem dry areas. (crow’s feet, lip area, cheeks). This product is often on sale at HSN, but you have to catch it just right. They always sell out. You can go to HSN and register to receive a notification when it will be featured on their channel again. |
MY EVENING ROUTINE – Best at least 1 hour before bed so products have time to soak into your skin & not your pillowcase.

I FOLLOW ALL EYE MAKEUP REMOVAL WITH ONE OF Even though I’ve already used the Micellar and the oil I use a clean WHITE washcloth. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. |

Please note: I am not an esthetician, dermatologist, or doctor. I am just like you. A person just searching for the best skincare products I can find and afford. My mission is to find replacements that work just as well (or almost as well) as high-priced beauty products.
